Sponsor a Night Out for students / colleagues / friends

McCarter will reserve a block of seats in a designated area, and create a unique promo code for your group to attend at a negotiated ticket price. (Minimum order of 15 tickets, prepaid by the host, prices vary per show.)

    • Ideal for Faculty/Residential Collegues/Affinity Groups when host wants students to enjoy a show but does not want to require them to use their limited tickets under Passport.*

    • Allows each person to book directly online and choose seats. Host is not responsible for coordinating tickets, RSVP’s.

    • Host pays for a certain # of tickets & shares the promo code. Once all tickets have been claimed, the code will no longer work! (No worries about being charged for more tickets than negotiated.

    • Mobile tickets with QR codes are sent to each individual’s email.

Bonus Engagement: We enhance the student experience through “behind the scenes” engagement. Examples:

    • Meal or reception at Res College with McCarter Staff/Res College Fellow/Artist

    • Artist Meet & Greet after the show (depending on # in party, date/performance)

    • Pre or Post show reception at McCarter (additional budget required)

    • Artist visit to class/campus site for conversation with students

    • Behind the Scenes Tour - scheduled for students after McCarter-attendance, on separate date

We will help you find the right show and create a meaningful experience. Contact: Debbie Bisno, Director of University and Artistic Partnerships at dbisno@mccarter.org. Explore more under Arts & Ideas.

*What about Princeton University’s Passport to the Arts Program?

Princeton Students have access to a limited number of FREE tickets to shows at McCarter through Passport to the Arts, a program sponsored by ODUS. NOTE to PU Faculty & Staff: While we encourage you to promote the Passport program to all students, McCarter DOES NOT recommend relying on Passport when planning a student group outing or integrating a show into curriculum. Passport tickets are only able to be redeemed ONCE per performance, per student, and students have a limit of 4 events (total) for professional shows at McCarter per academic year. This allotment is also affected by certain other University events. For more info on Passport, visit ODUS's Passport to the Arts page. Also see McCarter’s PU Student Tickets page.

    • You are not responsible for coordinating tickets, RSVP’s or collecting money, but each person in your group can use the code to access the discount.

Underwrite a Portion of the Ticket Cost for your group

McCarter will reserve a block of seats in a designated area, and create a unique promo code for your group to attend at a negotiated price. Individuals pay for a portion of their ticket, and you subsidize the rest. (Minimum order of 15 tickets, prices vary, host portion of the tickets pre-paid.)

    • If you’d like to host a group, offer them a special price, and subsidize the rest.

    • Allows each person to book directly online and choose seats within the designated area. You are not responsible for coordinating tickets, taking RSVP’s.

    • You pay upfront the subsidized portion of the agreed upon number of tickets and you share the code. Once all tickets have been booked by your guests, the code will no longer work! (No worries about being charged for more tickets than what you have negotiated and the subsidized amount prepaid.)

    • Mobile tickets with QR codes are sent to each individual’s email address.
