College and University Students enjoy discounted tickets to world-class shows and events at McCarter.
Princeton University students also get access to free tickets through Passport to the Arts.
For Princeton students:
Princeton University students can access a FREE TICKET to the shows at McCarter with Princeton University’s Passport to the Arts program by entering the promo code PUTIGER before placing their order.
Access to the Passport to the Arts program begins the first day of classes (Sept. 3 2024) and ends the last day of classes (April 25, 2025). Students may use their 4 Tiger Tickets to book a ticket for McCarter events or for performances on campus which are designated “Tiger Ticket Eligible”. They may use their 2 Student Events Eligible Tickets for the Triangle Show and other student event performances at McCarter on campus. Learn More.
Each student must book their own ticket when using the Passport to the Arts program and must enter their PU ID number (found on the front of their Tiger Card) at checkout. When a student places a Tiger Ticket order, if they have Tiger Tickets available and once the order has been processed, the ticket will be emailed to the address on the account. Only 1 Tiger Ticket may be used per event.
For all students:
McCarter Theatre Center offers discount student tickets to all college, university, and graduate students. Students must present a valid student I.D. and are limited to 2 tickets per production. All tickets are a final sale (no refunds or exchanges) and based on availability. Exclusions may apply.

Already used your Passport ticket allotment for the year?
Use code PUSTUTIX for discounted tickets throughout the season. Students must present a valid student I.D. and are limited to 2 tickets per production. All tickets are final sale (no refunds or exchanges) and based on availability. Exclusions may apply.

Free Tickets under Passport and Discounted Tickets for McCarter shows are subject to availability. Zone restrictions apply. Limit 1 free ticket per student with code PUTIGER using Passport to the Arts. Limit 2 tickets per student using code PUSTUTIX when booking discounted tickets. Codes cannot be combined with other offers. Events occurring before the first day of classes or after the last day of classes are not eligible for the Passport Program, regardless of booking period.
