His solo concert (which includes both a band and back-up singers) is a hit parade of familiar classics from the 50s and 60s right up to today—everyone from Barry Manilow and Bobby Darin to The Beatles, Billy Joel, Smokey Robinson, and Hall & Oates, with a little Bon Jovi thrown in for good measure. His Berlind concert is also somewhat of a homecoming, since Jarrod (a Jersey boy himself) attended Princeton (where he starred with the Princeton Triangle Club) but elected to try his luck on Broadway in lieu of graduation—a career choice that seems to have paid off!
