GrooveLily will perform songs from their new CD and upcoming musical, Sleeping Beauty Wakes (part of McCarter’s new musical theater initiative), a delightful modern riff on Grimms’ classic fairy tale. Winner of L.A.'s prestigious Ovation Award for Best World Premiere Musical, the score is written by GrooveLily’s own Valerie Vigoda and Brendan Milburn (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Striking 12) with a book by Tony Award winner Rachel Sheinkin (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee).
