Since then, he has created more than 70 works both for Parsons Dance and host of other companies around the world, and he’s also been a friend I have often welcomed back to McCarter. There’s no dance company I know that audiences enjoy watching more, and this time I asked him to bring a program of some of his—and my—favorites, including Shining Star (set to songs by Earth, Wind & Fire), Swing Shift (music by Kenji Bunch), and Wolfgang (music by Mozart).
