The Victoria J. Mastrobuono Rehearsal Room is located on the lower floor of the Matthews Theatre. This room is a flexible space with hardwood floors and is a perfect location for a sit-down dinner or a reception before a Matthews Theatre performance. The Victoria J Mastrobuono Rehearsal Room also has the added mystique of having been used by famous artists such as Lily Tomlin, Bob Newhart, Lewis Black, Alvin Alley American Dance Theatre, and Yo-Yo Ma to name a few.

The Presidents Room is located on the lower floor of the Matthews Theatre. This room is decorated with pictures of McCarter past performances and is used during the day as McCarter’s conference room. The Presidents Room is the perfect space to hold a meeting before a performance, have a casual dinner, or small reception.

The Berlind Rehearsal Room is located off of the Ground Floor Lobby of the Rodger S. Berlind Theatre and is a beautiful space with large picture windows and hardwood floors. This flexible space is perfect for a large sit-down dinner or reception before a performance. It can also be formatted for a lecture or a meeting before a performance. This room’s main use at McCarter is for the rehearsal of McCarter’s theater productions we hold on both of our stages. This makes for an exciting place to hold an event where guests can feel a connection to our performances.

All lobby rental fees include a $75 event facilitator fee
